Chewy the Sloth ceramic planter. An Adorable little sloth pothead perfect for small succulents, cacti, air plants, and even fake plants for those who are challenged.
The plant sits neatly in the head and has about 3 inches of room in diameter. Potheads are good for indoor or outdoor decoration. They have a drainage hole, recommend to take plant to sink for watering, dries in minutes as pot is very porous.
Hand sculpted from mid-range stoneware clay, hand painted with underglaze (colored clay), black-washed with glaze accents and fired three times to temperatures of 1800 degrees. Color will not fade, but take care not to chip or scratch.
Potheads are perfect for any tabletop, desktop, patio or counter. They sit about 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide and in length, although some with big ears are a bit wider. Slightly bigger than a can of soda.
Although their main purpose is to be a small ceramic planter you can also just use it as a small sculpture on your desk or to hold pencils, candles etc.
Each Pothead is handmade by me, one of a kind not from molds. Sure to make and excellent addition to your home or a great gift for a special person.

How come I cannot exchange this Pothead?
Potheads are unique and one of a kind, there's always going to be something different to choose from available at different times. To be the most fair to all my customers Potheads are available first come basis. There may be exceptions contact me if any additional questions.
How do I care for this Pothead?
Potheads are ceramic, they are made from a white clay which is very similar to terra cotta planters. They absorb water and have a drainage hole to keep the plants dry. They can be indoor or outdoor. The "paint" I use is a colored clay and after firing it becomes part of the pothead. They do not like freezing weather but hey plants don't usually like that either.
Why are potheads seemingly so delicate?
They are made from clay and fired three times. They are ceramic, more durable than glass but at the same time very similar. They are small sculptures, and not toys. If a pothead breaks, the best thing to fix it would be E 6000 which is a glue that can be found at any craft store. If you would like some additional tips to how to fix your pothead please message me. It is a bit sad when they break but they can be fixed. Thank you!
